Alicia Lawrence
Alicia, the head of the Kalitta Air Employee Assistance Program, is also the Manager of Kalitta Air’s Crew Resources Department, and has been with the airline many years. The environment in which she works is high-pressure and involves many turning wheels, which requires a great deal of coordination and personality blending. In addition to taking care of the pilots, Alicia has a family and raises dogs, among other hobbies. Both Alicia and her husband Randy are volunteers for the KAEAP, and have offered us a dynamic powerhouse duo helping all of our team mates.
Shannon and Eric Wayte
Shannon joined HomeSafe, a child welfare not-for-profit, as Chief Advancement Officer in December 2019. Over more than 15 years in the nonprofit sector, Shannon has served in progressively responsible positions in advancement for organizations including Florida Grand Opera, Barry University and Nova Southeastern University (NSU).
Captain Eric Wayte has been with Kalitta Air for many years now, and has been on both the Boeing 747 and 777. A Texas native, Eric Has since moved to South Florida and, if missing, can be found on his boat, his second love. Eric has been involved in all things aviation from a young age, starting out as a ramper and working his way to the left seat of the world’s largest airliners. In his spare time, he helps manage a local flying club, and works for the KAEAP, making sure that your valuable donations are allocated correctly. Eric is married to fellow volunteer Shannon Wayte.
