Eloise

On November 19, 2023 Richard Weiser and Chynna Marshall brought a beautiful baby girl into the Kalitta family. Eloise Elizabeth Weiser was born with all the courage and fighting spirit that would make her parents and grandparents very proud of their amazing little girl. However, Eloise was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, which is also known as Edwards Syndrome.

Richard and Chynna have been a part of the Kalitta Family since 2021. Richard, who original started out in maintenance, has since worked his way up into the position of Inspector at CVG, making friends and winning everyone over with his keen mechanical abilities and personality that no one can resist. Richard and Chynna are truly two of the nicest people you would ever want to meet.

Unfortunately, with Eloise’s diagnosis, Richard and Chynna had to face the grave reality that that children effected with Trisomy 18 have on average a 5-10% likelihood of surviving to their first birthday. With this devastating reality, they had to prepare themselves for the worst event that any parent could go through. From the time of Eloise’s birth, both Rich and Chynna have been off of work to spend every second with their beautiful daughter, and this, coupled with arrangements to stay as near to her as possible, created hardship, both emotionally and financially. It is our intent to rally the Kalitta family around one of our own, so that they may not have to deal with the ongoing financial reminders of an already difficult event.

On December 29, 2023 Eloise succumb to Trisomy 18. In the family’s final goodbye to her, they said this: “During her brief visit on earth, she enjoyed listening to music and being read books. She showed us her incredibly sassy red headed personality, and was told "I love you" an uncountable number of times. She was held close by her parents and grandparents. Eloise was loved by all who met her, and will be greatly missed.”

If you would be so kind, please lend a supporting hand, as the work towards healing a void will surly take quite a bit of time.

Thank you, from all of us at CVG.

100% of all donations will go to the family of Eloise to assist them in their great time of need. The Kalitta Air Employee Assistance Program has a 100% donation to recipient ratio, the highest of any 501(c)3.
