What we offer
While we do not offer cash assistance, we are able to pay a needed bill in an emergency directly to a financial creditor to help ease your burden, like a deductible or a prescription fee. A copy of your bill will be required for consideration. The KAEAP also offers emotional support assistance and items, such as flowers at a funeral or catering assistance for an emergency family event. After filling out the form, the board will convene to determine how much assistance can be offered based on funds available, and level of the emergency. The board will then render its decision along with any other information needed.
